ORCO Block & Hardscape was founded in 1946 by Pete Muth and Arvid Johnson in Orange County, California. The business grew quickly and in 1952, a second plant was built in Stanton, where the corporate offices currently reside. In 1971, the Muth family became the sole owners of ORCO and continued to expand, adding another plant in Riverside. Pete's son Rick Muth, president, currently operates the company's six locations throughout Southern California.
